Co-founders, Jeff Wegge and Jonathan Watkins formed The Headshot Guys, LLC to be the Twin Cities’ premiere business portrait destination. Great care and time is taken with each individual to produce a high-end image that conveys professionalism, self-confidence and builds rapport and trust with clients.
Jeff and Jonathan are Twin Cities, MN, based portrait and sports photographers with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion for helping clients strengthen their brand through photography.
The Headshot Guys have a combined 50-plus years of business experience, both in the corporate world and as entrepreneurs, with Jonathan running a successful technology company and Jeff as an Independent Financial Advisor. They incorporate their business skills into their headshot photography by getting to know their clients’ goals and objectives and collaborate on a game plan to accomplish it.
Unmatched preparation is what separates The Headshot Guys. Prior to any session, Jeff and Jonathan sit down with each client to go over their brand and explain how the right headshot can help them best convey the image, style and personality they want the world to see as part of an overall marketing strategy.
Jeff Wegge
The Grand Forks, ND. native cut his teeth as a photojournalist before pursuing his passion for sports photography. Minnesota Hockey Magazine’s Chief Photographer since 2013 has shot some of the sports most high-profile events including the Stanley Cup playoffs, the Frozen Four, the NHL Stadium Series, Hockey Day Minnesota and the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. Jeff's other clients include: Motovan Corporation of Canada Powershorts, Cottages and Bungalows Magazine, & Lift Bridge Brewery.

Jonathan Watkins
A staff photographer for Minnesota Hockey Magazine since 2015, Jonathan’s client list includes Vail Resorts, Rogers Sports Net-Canada, the Minnesota Wild NHL hockey club. Jonathan has photographed/covered the Stanley Cup playoffs, the USA women's Olympic hockey team, the NCAA Frozen Four Ice Hockey Championships and many other college and high school sports teams.
